From the Grand Slams to local club competitions, tennis offers competitive opportunities for every level. Here’s your guide to the tennis tournament landscape.

The Grand Slams

The four most prestigious tournaments in tennis:

🇦🇺 Australian Open (January)

Held in Melbourne on hard courts. Known for extreme heat and a festive atmosphere. The « Happy Slam » kicks off the tennis year.

🇫🇷 French Open (May-June)

The only Grand Slam on clay courts, held at Roland Garros in Paris. The most physically demanding Slam, favoring baseliners with heavy topspin.

🇬🇧 Wimbledon (June-July)

The oldest and most prestigious tournament, played on grass in London. Strict all-white dress code and royal patronage make it uniquely traditional.

🇺🇸 US Open (August-September)

Held in New York on hard courts. Known for night sessions, loud crowds, and an electric atmosphere. The final Grand Slam of the year.
